Movies I watched in January.

Hello lovely people and welcome to something a little new to my blog this year. Last year I set myself a challenge to read as many books as possible in one year, so for this year I set myself a challenge to watch as many movies  as possible in one year.

Whether they be new, old, classics I’ve seen before I will be listing them every month with a little rating out of five. (most of these may be childrens movies, well you know because I have two children) I’ll start now by saying I watched 30 movies this January.

  1. Toy Story – 4/5
  2. Toy Story 2 – 1/5 (I really hate this one)
  3. Toy Story 3 – 5/5
  4. Titanic – 4/5
  5. Twilight – 3/5
  6. Twilight: New Moon 3/5
  7. Twilight: Eclipse 4/5
  8. Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pt.1 – 3/5
  9. Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pt.2 – 5/5
  10. San Andreas – 5/5 (The Rock is in it ♥)
  11. The 5th Wave – 4/5
  12. Alvin and the Chipmunks – 4/5
  13. Bright – 5/5
  14. Sand Castle – 5/5 (If you have Netflix, watch this! It is brilliant)

  16. Daddy’s Home – 5/5 (Hilarious)
  17. Daddy Day Camp – 3/5
  18. Anastasia – 5/5

  20. Beauty and the Beast – 4/5 (Finally watched the live-action, original still the best)
  21. Miss Congeniality – 5/5
  22. Miss Congeniality: Armed ad Fabulous – 4/5
  23. Think Like a Man Too – 4/5
  24. Power Rangers – 5/5 (I’m a little too young to remember these but the 2017 film was epic)
  25. Moana – (This could easily come up every month, so be warned)
  26. Safe Haven – 5/5 (Love Love Love Love)
  27. iRobot – 5/5
  28. Sweet Home Alabama – 5/5
  29. The Last Song – 4/5

I’m actually really pleased with how much I have actually watched in January and I am really looking forward to what I will watch this month. I really hope you guys like this post and hopefully it has given you a few movie titles you’ve never seen before and will watch in the future.

Have you seen any of the films I watched in January? Let me know in the comments below.

Peace and Love

  1. I definitely need to up my movie watching game, I’m lucky if I watch one a month haha! I went to see Early Man in the cinema this weekend though which I enjoyed, I love Aardman animations although nothing tops Wallace and Gromit! I think I’ll have to make time to see Moana soon, I still haven’t watched it! 🙈 I have taken note of your recommendation of Sand Castle too as I do have Netflix!

    1. When my children go to sleep I stay up a little later to watch a film or two 🙂 it’s my little time to unwind and relax you know before having to do it all over again the next day!

  3. I absolutely love sitting down to watch a good film. Toy Story always makes me think of Christmas as they always play it on BBC, it always makes me smile. I love the Twilight films, it’s been so long since I last watched them all! They used to be my absolute favourite x

  4. I might start taking note of how many films I watch, or set myself a film watching goal! I love that you’ve got Moana in there and I totally agree that if I was jotting down my film watching habits it would be cropping up at least once a month too! Keep up the excellent work darling — in everything you do. Xx

Haha, why do you hate the second Toy Story to badly? I don’t know that just made me laugh. So you liked Bright, I heard so much bad about it I decided against watching it.
Very good job getting so many movies in.

    1. I don’t know I think it’s because I find Jessie in that one really selfish and self-centred, i love her in Toy Story 3 but in no. 2 she’s annoying haha. Honestly I love Will Smith so everything/anything he does I’ll watch and love . Thank you

  12. I love this idea! I reckon I’ve probably watched a lot of movies in 2018 so far, I watch at least one movie a day some of these movies I haven’t watched in a while though. Especially the Toy Story franchise, can’t remember the last time I watched them!
